Most awards are open for self-nomination. The Lifetime Achievement Award is peer-nominated only.

 

All nominations are assessed by an independent panel of senior academics and industry representatives, who look for clear evidence of innovation, impact, and meaningful improvement in outcomes.

 

Finalists are announced on 22 September 2026 and featured on the AUBEA website and social media. Certificates and cash awards are presented at the AUBEA Annual Conference dinner on 17 November 2026. Registration and attendance at the conference is required to receive an award.

Abstract submission will open first, with authors indicating their preferred submission type.


All submissions will undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process.


Accepted full papers will be published in Scopus-indexed conference proceedings, subject to publisher acceptance. Accepted extended abstracts will be published in digital conference proceedings with a DOI. Selected high-quality papers may be invited for further development for publication in journal special issues (to be confirmed).


The submission system and detailed author guidelines will be announced in due course. Prospective authors are encouraged to check this page regularly for updates.
