The AUBEA Awards mark a new chapter for our community — a formal, annual celebration of the excellence in research, teaching, and industry collaboration that has always defined built environment education across Australasia.
The AUBEA Awards recognise researchers, educators, and industry partners who are making a genuine difference to construction management education across Australasia. From early-career academics to long-serving leaders, these awards acknowledge the full range of contributions that make our discipline stronger.

HOW IT WORKS
Most awards are open for self-nomination. The Lifetime Achievement Award is peer-nominated only.
All nominations are assessed by an independent panel of senior academics and industry representatives, who look for clear evidence of innovation, impact, and meaningful improvement in outcomes.
Finalists are announced on 22 September 2026 and featured on the AUBEA website and social media. Certificates and cash awards are presented at the AUBEA Annual Conference dinner on 17 November 2026. Registration and attendance at the conference is required to receive an award.

Accepted full papers will be published in Scopus-indexed conference proceedings, subject to publisher acceptance. Accepted extended abstracts will be published in digital conference proceedings with a DOI. Selected high-quality papers may be invited for further development for publication in journal special issues (to be confirmed).
The submission system and detailed author guidelines will be announced in due course. Prospective authors are encouraged to check this page regularly for updates.
